The McKenney-Hall Portrait exhibit at Fort Osage.

Fort Osage National Historic Landmark just installed a new temporary exhibit on American Indians with ties to Fort Osage. Featured are original prints from the McKenney-Hall Portrait Gallery, one of the original “coffee table books,” that brought western tribes to east coast parlors. The exhibit will be up now through November 2014.
