A new television series for PBS featured Riverbluff Cave in southwest Springfield. Riverbluff Cave was discovered by accident in 2001 when a hole was blasted into the side of it during the construction of a new road. The Cave will be in an episode of the series “America: From the Ground Up” which connects history with Archaeology. Look for “America: From the Ground Up” on a PBS station near you this Fall.
